Oldest child of 3 growing up in Oklahoma, Velinda majored in business before studying design and was an entrepreneur at 8 years old; going door-to-door selling “skits” to neighbors. Neighbors paid her to go away when they learned these skits required them to hook up their water hose. Profit! She spent several years working nights, studying people while they slept. Unrelated, she can lucid dream and usually uses the power to either fly, visit her mom, or do something not-blog-appropriate. She married an old friend. If she and her wife had a daughter, she’d look exactly like Marina Bacarin, but they’re sticking to fur-babies only. Oh, and she takes her scotch neat.
